We are continuing our pursuit of closing in on airsoft accuracy and distance. So how do we plan on doing this?
- Make them harder - this will increase accuracy as the vibration of the gel through the air makes them inaccurate.
- Make them heavier - this will make them travel further. Its just physics: with the same size but heavier, it will travel further which we have been able to achieve 27% increase in weight. That also means you will need to increase your spring size as it will travel slower if you do not. But if you pump up your spring size by 1 size, you will have the same FPS but now travel further.
- Make them more consistent - this will also increase accuracy. The current variance in size is huge and directly affects accuracy as the FPS changes from gel to gel as well as it can hit a different part of the hopup or stay in contact less or longer depending on the size.
- Change the external features - much like golf balls, making them not perfect and smooth spheres can help make them travel further without the need to make them heavier. This has been shown to increase travel by up to 30%.
We are experimenting with the formula and manufacturing process every day. We believe we can achieve this and will keep you updated with progress as we go! We want to out-perform airsoft. We have been saying for years that we wish we had airsoft but perhaps all we need is just better gels!
